Pool Coping

Pool coping is the stone or concrete edging material that caps your pool walls. With older pools, the pool coping is nearly always standard concrete. But as with nearly everything else associated with the swimming pool industry, pool coping has come a long way.

Swimming pool coping still can be installed as poured concrete, but the concrete can have a variety of textures and stains. Poured concrete pool coping is a technique that may be used when you are getting a new concrete pool deck and the coping is one unit with the pool deck, with no break in the finish.

Natural stone may also be used as pool coping. Pool coping stone or brick offers the warmth, texture and sturdiness of stone. Travertine, quarried granite, limestone and natural fieldstone all offer beautiful and long-lasting pool coping solutions.
