Pool Plumbing Repair
Pool plumbing repair may be needed if your pool is leaking, and we’ve ruled out a crack in your concrete pool or a tear in your vinyl pool liner. The pool technicians at Mid Atlantic Pool Service are experts at finding and repairing leaks in the pool’s plumbing system. Leaks found in the pool’s plumbing lines are most often due to old pipes, ground movement or improper pool winterizing.
Our pool repair specialists will thoroughly check out your pool’s plumbing system to find the source of the leak. Once we find the leak, we’ll give you a repair estimate. Most times, we can perform the pool plumbing repair during our initial visit. There may be an occasion where we will have to schedule a repair for another day.
The parts of your pool’s plumbing system we check for leaks:
Your pool’s return lines return water from the pool pump and filter back to the pool. Leaks in the return line may, at times, require opening up the pool deck to gain access to the leak location. If that is the case, we will repair your pool deck once the leak is fixed.
Your pool’s suction lines remove water from the pool to recirculate the water through the filter, then back through the return lines to the pool. The suction lines begin at the skimmer and the main drain. If we find a leak in the suction line, we may need to dig up the ground around the pool, equipment, or deck to access the line that requires repair.
Pump & filter
Pool pumps usually last for about 8-12 years before they need to be replaced or rebuilt. If you need a new pump, it’s a simple task to install a replacement pump.
