While new inground pool installation won’t start for several more months, if you’re thinking about getting a pool installed, it’s OK to start thinking about what type of pool you would like, what size, shape, etc. It’s also OK to start planning.
Pools can be expensive. Make sure you have your financing in place before you get quotes on a new pool. If it’s a windfall from an inheritance that will pay for the pool, congratulations. Most people pay for a new pool through financing. Check with your bank or mortgage company to firm up what financing is available to you.
You should do some research so that you know the basic differences between concrete, vinyl and fiberglass pools, so you know the pros and cons of each type of inground pool.
